March in Canada is still winter, but some days can reach highs of more than 10 degrees Celsius, signaling the approach of spring.

During this month, I received some good news from my applications. While I'm grateful, I'm also figuring out how to manage everything. After all these years, I've realized that hard work and preparation are key to achieving my goals. Luck plays a negligible role in my life, and results only appear after action is taken or completed. Imperfection is acceptable because we can't foresee outcomes at the outset, but inaction guarantees failure.

Next month, with more breezes and sunshine heralding spring, I can't wait to try the wild chives growing in the fields. Having observed people harvesting these fragrant herbs for two years, I'm excited to experience it myself. This activity reminds me of my childhood when, at about 10 years old, I would join my mom in climbing nearby hills to pick wild herbs. Those were precious moments, with herb picking offering a delightful break from our climbing efforts. A quote from the Disney movie "Coco" resonates with me: "As long as we remember them, they are still with us." I believe this is true and am grateful for the memories with my mom.
